One of RHL's large, in-house clients is looking for an attorney with data privacy/data protection experinece. This role will start as a contract one, but could very well become permanent down the line.

The privacy attorney's responsibilities will be to oversee the data protection obligations under the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Account (CCPA). Experience with both GDPR and CCPA is a must!

The privacy attorney will be responsible for data protection compliance and privacy within the company and will monitor compliance and data practices internally to ensure the business and its functions comply with applicable requirements. The privacy attorney will be responsible for data protection impact assessments, and internal audits. The privacy attorney will work closely with the Legal, Compliance, Governance and Information Security functions to develop and monitor policies and standards applicable to the business and in compliance with the GDPR and CCPA.
