As a result, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Digital Risk Manager to play a key role in the future growth of the business. This is a brand new role to support the expansion of our Risk and Compliance team and will give the successful candidate an opportunity to really shape and develop how this role supports our Digital proposition going forward

You and your role

We are super excited to be expanding our Risk and Compliance team with an experienced Digital Risk Manager to support across various business areas to embed new bespoke governance processes and an effective risk management culture. You will be working closely with the Digital and IT teams, providing them risk and regulatory guidance as well as the creation and embedding of Digital and Data risk governance across the Groups business areas and ensuring Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) is incorporated in our Digital journeys and across the customer experience.

As an experienced Risk Manager you will have technology risk experience and an understanding of digital platforms and data management risks. With an exceptional level of attention to detail you will be an expert in data privacy and protection impact assessment, which is supported by your robust GDPR knowledge and implementation.

As an insurance business we are a regulated environment with bodies such as the ICO and FCA Your strong regulatory knowledge and experience engaging with such regulators will be invaluable to supporting your success in this position. You will also have demonstrable experience of ISO 27001 implementation.

Your experience and knowledge, coupled with your ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders, and you strong communication skills will enable you to not only share key information and insight to a variety of audiences but also enable you to produce effective, high quality reports and presentations.
