Infrastructure Security Specialist
Salary: £42,152.90 - £51,520.20
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, the Infrastructure security Specialist will be responsible for reporting on, maintaining and improving IT Security within Great Places Group.
For a successful application, you'll need to be qualified to minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths. In addition to this, you are working towards or already hold the CISSP qualification. You are experienced in working within information security, technology architecture or infrastructure management roles. You're organised and able to time manage workload, whilst also being able to form effective liaison with staff or other stakeholders to give, or find information to resolve problems.
You have experience in designing and implementing written and technical information security polices, as well as IT security incident management. You have practical knowledge of information security risks, controls and frameworks (e.g. COBIT or ISO27001). You also have broad knowledge of UK DPA, GDPR, PCI DSS or other global data protection legislation.
You're experienced in security within an Azure or Cloud environment, as well as experience of Mimecast of similar email security. You have strong knowledge of common networking services and protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, FTP, DNS, DHCP, SMPT, SSL etc.). You're experienced in malware analysis (Analysis of documents / malicious binaries / understanding and interpreting results of sandbox output).
You're able to use the full range of Microsoft Office, as well as having knowledge of using Venerability Assessment tools like Nessus, Qualys etc. You're able to complete tasks in an accurate and timey manner when working under pressure, and are also able to deliver a high standard of customer service. You have good written and verbal communications skills, as well as analytical and problem solving skills.
