Marketing Automation – Digital Product CX Consultant

JOB PURPOSE: The Digital Product Experience Consultant Marketing Automation works closely with Construction Industries Services Division (CISD), Dealer Distribution Services (DSD), Construction Industries (CI), Cat Dealer Leadership to define Construction Industries (CI) Critical Customer Requirements related to Marketing Automation and partners with Cat Digital to ensure there is alignment and clarity on requirements developments.

JOB DUTIES: The Digital Product Experience Consultant Marketing Automation will serve as the expert responsible for the development and execution of Marketing Automation initiatives to drive profitable parts and service revenue and POPS growth. The incumbent will interact with Retail Customers and key business partners to define Critical Customer Requirements (CCRs) for Marketing Automation and Collaborative Marketing and execute roadmaps to deliver a best-in-class Digital Retail Customer Experience.

This individual is responsible for the following:
•Responsible for working with the Field Teams, Dealers, and Retail Customers to define Critical Customer Requirements for Marketing Automation programs (existing & future)
•Responsible for partnering with Cat Digital Product Managers to set Marketing Automation strategic vision to ensure we best serve CI Retail Customers
•Work very closely with the CRM team to understand and improve Retail marketable contacts: Segmentation, contact strategy and 360 view of customer.
•Responsible for aligning requirements with Cat Digital & Technology to drive a consistent approach with Cat Digital for CI (Construction Industries) Customers
•Serve as the Marketing Automation expert, monitor industry trends, and ways to stay ahead of the competition.
•Leverage VOC to guide Marketing Automation solution design and development based on CI Customer Requirements and partner with Digital Marketing team and Cat Digital to translate them into Technical Requirements.
•Work with Cat Digital to leverage Data Management Platform (DMP) across channels and optimize data collection while enforcing consent and GDPR requirements
•Provide guidance regarding marketing consent, GDPR & 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data governance.
•Bring Marketing Automation programs to market effectively by leveraging a professional Go-to-Market Framework focused on Definition of Winning, Preparation, Knowledge, Marcom, Governance and Execution.

Must have ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences. Good human relations skills are required to develop a collaborative, cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the business unit. Generally, requires extensive travel to understand regional or worldwide business conditions. Incumbent has previous expertise within government agencies, national associations, dealers and/or customer groups.

Basic Requirements:

  • 4-year University or College degree OR 9+ years of specific industry, product and/or field experience in lieu of degree.
  • Previous experience in Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, OR CRM (customer relationship management) platform is required for this role.

  • Relocation assistance is provided for this role.
  • Travel is up to 20% for this role.
