Description

You will join us as a People Process Manager and will lead a busy team of People Process Leads and People Process Administrators with a busy centralised HR function, you will deliver a comprehensive, flexible and efficient end to end HR administration service.

You will be comfortable 'spinning plates' and managing a number of key stakeholder simultaneously, and you will be a confident relationship builder who isn't afraid to have constructive challenging conversations.

People Process Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage annual pay review and bonus process for UL and Group
  • Manage the day to day running of the people administration team, ensuring adherence to SLAs
  • Use data and metrics to track day to day performance and use data to drive continuous improvement
  • Lead the annual flexible benefits process
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory rules such as GDPR
  • Represent the HR department by building and maintain relationships with the wider HR function and key stakeholders
  • Manage and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes to align with best practices
  • Support in the implementation of new HRIS systems as required
  • Build capability across the People Services team

People Process Manager Requirements:

Essential:

  • Previous experience managing a fast paced central HR team
  • Thorough understanding of HR processes and procedures
  • Up to date, working knowledge of current UK employment law
  • Proven experience of working in a confidential environment
  • Strong planning, organising and time management skills – able to balance priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially via email and telephone
  • Ability to process information accurately, quickly and logically
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Customer focus – taking accountability for proactively resolving issues
  • Unafraid to challenge practice / process and people to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Strong planning and time management skills - able to balance priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Able to work on own initiative whilst balancing the need to involve others for maximum effectiveness

Desirable:

  • CIPD Qualified
